Guest Experience Housekeeper
About Us
The Inn at Lost River is a historic country inn where thoughtful hospitality and exceptional attention to detail define every guest experience.
Our guests don't simply book a room. They come to celebrate anniversaries, reconnect with family, escape busy lives, and experience the quiet beauty of the Lost River Valley. Every room should feel as though it has been prepared especially for them.
That experience begins long before a guest arrives. It begins with the person who prepares their room.
Position Summary
We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in creating beautiful spaces.
This position is much more than cleaning rooms. It's preparing an experience. We are seeking someone who notices the little things, enjoys creating order, and believes details matter.
A perfectly made bed. Freshly folded towels. Furniture returned to its proper place. A current guest information bulletin. A spotless mirror. A carefully arranged room that feels welcoming the moment a guest opens the door. If those details matter to you, you'll fit right in.

Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to Inn standards.

-
Report maintenance concerns, damaged furnishings, or inventory shortages promptly.
-
Maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment in excellent condition.
-
Assist with laundry as needed.
-
Work independently while maintaining consistent quality and efficiency.

Our Standard
Before considering a room complete, we encourage every housekeeper to pause at the doorway and look at the room through the eyes of a first-time guest.
Ask yourself: "If I were arriving for a special weekend away, would this room exceed my expectations?" If the answer is yes, you've done your job.

Why You'll Love Working Here
You'll be part of a small hospitality team where quality matters more than speed.
Unlike large hotels where rooms are cleaned assembly-line style, you'll have the opportunity to prepare each room with care and attention. Your work directly shapes the memories our guests take home and the reviews they leave behind.
At the Inn at Lost River, housekeeping isn't behind the scenes. It's one of the most important parts of delivering exceptional hospitality.
To apply, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter to employment@innatlostriver.com.
