About the event
Once a year, the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau gives wine lovers an excuse to celebrate a wine that's all about the here and now. Made from Gamay grapes in France's Beaujolais region, Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau-Villages is released just weeks after harvest, bringing fresh, lively fruit flavors and an easygoing spirit to the glass. It's a wine meant to be enjoyed young, without a lot of fuss. All fun, no wine degree required. For one night only, we'll have small plates inspired by French country cooking and Appalachian ingredients, from smoked duck and white bean cassoulet to mushroom, tarragon, and blue cheese galettes, alongside our Beaujolais in the Backwoods, a bourbon cocktail featuring Smooth Ambler Bourbon, fresh lemon, and a touch of maple, finished with a float of Beaujolais Nouveau.
