Mornings at the Inn at Lost River are designed to feel unhurried and generous. Each day, we serve a thoughtfully prepared three course breakfast exclusively for our overnight guests between 8:00 and 9:00 AM.

Beginning at 7:30 AM, freshly brewed Puerto Rican coffee from Hacienda Alto Grande is available for early risers, offering a smooth and balanced start to the day.

 

Our breakfast menu changes daily and is shaped by the seasons, local availability, and what inspires us in the kitchen.

House-Made Baked Goods
We begin with something warm from our oven. Scones, breakfast loaves, biscuits, pastries, or tea cakes are prepared in-house each morning using carefully selected ingredients. This first course sets the tone, simple, comforting, and thoughtfully made.

Seasonal Fruit
Fresh, peak-season fruit follows, sometimes paired with house-made yogurt, light cream, or a complementary garnish. We focus on quality and freshness, allowing natural flavors to shine.

The Main Plate
The final course is a composed savory or sweet entrée crafted with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Farm eggs, regional produce, fresh herbs, and occasional decadent touches come together in dishes that feel refined yet satisfying.
